Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Engage students in a storytelling session where they listen to a short, exciting story to spark their interest. Conduct a quick vocabulary review by showing flashcards of key words from the story and asking students to repeat after you. Ask students to predict the story's ending based on the title and initial paragraphs to activate their prior knowledge.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Oral Language: Conduct a listening comprehension exercise where students listen to a short passage and answer questions about the main idea and details. Facilitate a group discussion on the passage's themes, encouraging students to share their thoughts and opinions.
