Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Begin with a short greeting activity where students talk about their favorite hobbies and interests. Have students share one thing they did over the weekend with a partner. Introduce a short story about a family and ask students to predict what it might be about based on the title and cover illustration. Engage students in a vocabulary brainstorming session related to family and places, listing words they know on the board. | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Oral Language:
Organize a circle time where each student introduces a family member, describing their appearance and what they enjoy doing together.
Conduct a role-play activity where students ask each other questions about their families and places they have visited.
Reading:

Have students work in pairs to read a story about a place, taking turns to read aloud and discuss the setting and characters.
Writing:
