Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about the passage read. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about the passage read? Introduction to today's objectives regarding the passage read. Mental drill or quick quiz related to the passage read.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Read a paragraph aloud
have learners read various texts to the class assess by having them read different texts.
Read a passage aloud
assist learners in reading
have them answer factual questions ask them to narrate the passage assess with factual questions. Repeat Tuesday's activities: read aloud, assist reading, answer questions, narrate, and assess with factual questions.
Phase 3plenary / reflections
