Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about CLIMATE CHANGE. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about CLIMATE CHANGE? Introduction to today's objectives regarding CLIMATE CHANGE. Mental drill or quick quiz related to CLIMATE CHANGE.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Show pictures/videos of fossil fuel burning and weather changes. Tell a story about bush fires and their impact on life and property. Facilitate group discussions on the effects of burning. Have groups present ideas on burning's impact, like smoke and air pollution. Assess by identifying bush fire effects on humans, plants, animals, and property. Conduct a brainstorming session on the consequences of continuous burning. Task learners with designing posters on burning's impact on climate change. Assess by identifying burning's effects on climate change.
