Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about MYSELF. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about MYSELF? Introduction to today's objectives regarding MYSELF. Mental drill or quick quiz related to MYSELF.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Learners identify their physical features that make them different from others. Discuss personal interests and hobbies and how they define identity. Write short sentences about things they are good at. Discuss the concept of 'self-esteem' and how to build it in themselves and others.
Phase 3plenary / reflections
Summarize what we learned today about MYSELF. Oral assessment: Answer key questions on MYSELF. Learners share one new thing they found out about MYSELF. Check for understanding and wrap up the week on MYSELF.
