Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Engage learners to play games and sing songs to begin the lesson. Use questions to review learners understanding in the previous lesson.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Display printed song and recitation cards from Ghana’s three religions and identify each example respectfully. Explain that Qur’anic recitation is treated as recitation rather than as a song. Appropriate groups perform a selected song or recitation while classmates may keep a gentle rhythm with a local drum and gourd shaker only where that practice is suitable. Participation remains respectful and voluntary. Learners use exercise books to record the theme, moral lesson and role of the selected song or recitation in worship. Groups share how the lesson can guide daily life.
