Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Have learners mention natural things (things created by God) that are bright and beautiful in the environment and classify them into big and small
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Use the Bible and Qur’an to introduce attributes such as love, patience, mercy and justice. Learners discuss how believers may reflect these attributes in daily conduct. Groups examine printed Ghanaian moral-scenario cards set at home, school and in the community. They identify the attribute that would guide a responsible response. Learners match manila attribute-and-action cards to each scenario and write a brief explanation. Groups role-play one response and receive respectful peer feedback.
Phase 3plenary / reflections
Ask learners to do the following by ways of reflecting on the lesson: 1. Tell the class what you learnt during the lesson. 2. Tell the class how you will use the knowledge they acquire during the lesson. 3. Which aspects of the lesson did you not understand?
