Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about own ideas. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about own ideas? Introduction to today's objectives regarding own ideas. Mental drill or quick quiz related to own ideas.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Watch a video or live performance on national issues in Ghana. Discuss the importance of creating original performances. Develop a performance roadmap: set a date, choose a venue, and invite an audience. Brainstorm and agree on a theme for the performance. Send invitations via various platforms. Select compositions focusing on creativity, originality, and relevance to the theme. Decide on performance arrangements, including mode, costumes, and props. Assessment: Write a detailed plan for the performance, including event sequence, venue setup, and post-performance activities.
Phase 3plenary / reflections
Summarize what we learned today about own ideas. Oral assessment: Answer key questions on own ideas. Learners share one new thing they found out about own ideas. Check for understanding and wrap up the week on own ideas.
