Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Review learners understanding in the previous lesson using questions and answers
Engage learners to play games and sing songs to begin the lesson.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Let learners identify religious songs of the three major religions in Ghana. Let learners listen to religious songs in the three major religions and indicate how they can apply the theme in their daily lives. Put learners into religious groups to take turns to perform various religious music and dance. For this activity, learners use Bible and Qur’an, locally made religious song cards and local drum to read or identify suitable passages and keep the rhythm while reciting or singing respectfully.
