Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Review learners understanding in the previous lesson using questions and answers Engage learners to play games and sing songs to begin the lesson. | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Display the Qur’an and prayer mat and discuss their respectful use in Islam. Explain that Muslim worship may include salat, supplication, Qur’an recitation and charity.
Groups examine printed photographs of worship in a local Ghanaian mosque and match Islamic worship-action cards to the practices shown.
Learners arrange the cards into a respectful account of worship and explain why Muslims pray. Any physical demonstration is voluntary and must not imitate worship mockingly. | Phase 3plenary / reflections Ask learners series of questions to review their understanding of the lesson
