Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Group learners into three (3), appoint a leader from each group to act as the teacher. Ask them to summarize what was covered in the previous/current lesson. The class is allowed to pose questions to the leaders. | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Learners inspect sealed local water samples in clear bottles and compare visible colour and particles without opening or tasting any sample. Explain that clear appearance alone does not prove that water is safe to drink.
The teacher uses clean cotton filter cloth to demonstrate removal of visible particles from a prepared muddy-water model. Explain clearly that cloth filtration alone does not remove every germ or chemical and does not make unknown water drinkable.
Groups sequence printed safe-water treatment cards showing collection from an approved source, adult-supervised treatment, clean covered storage and hygienic serving.
