Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about Pronouns. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about Pronouns? Introduction to today's objectives regarding Pronouns. Mental drill or quick quiz related to Pronouns.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Define and explain the purpose of pronouns as words that replace nouns to avoid repetition. Introduce and practice using personal pronouns (I, you, he/she/it, we, they) in the local language. Discuss and practice possessive pronouns (mine, yours, his/hers) to show ownership. Use word cards to reinforce the replacement of subjects in sentences with appropriate pronouns.
Phase 3plenary / reflections
Summarize what we learned today about Pronouns. Oral assessment: Answer key questions on Pronouns. Learners share one new thing they found out about Pronouns. Check for understanding and wrap up the week on Pronouns.
