Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about various media. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about various media? Introduction to today's objectives regarding various media. Mental drill or quick quiz related to various media.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Introduce and explain imprinting and relief printing techniques, including overprinting for color effects. Demonstrate carving designs into soft blocks and show how to apply ink or paint. Guide students in using pressing techniques to create patterns. Assist students in creating printed compositions using various objects.
Phase 3plenary / reflections
Summarize what we learned today about various media. Oral assessment: Answer key questions on various media. Learners share one new thing they found out about various media. Check for understanding and wrap up the week on various media.
