Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about Electricity. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about Electricity? Introduction to today's objectives regarding Electricity. Mental drill or quick quiz related to Electricity.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
1. Define 'Conductors' (materials that allow electricity to flow) and 'Insulators' (materials that block it). 2. Experiment: Place different objects in the circuit 'gap' and record which ones allow the bulb to glow. 3. Safety Discussion: Why are electrical wires covered in plastic? Why do electricians wear rubber gloves? 4. Classification: Group the tested items into two columns: Conductors and Insulators.
