Introduce the concept of visualization and explain how it helps in understanding texts
Engage students in a quick brainstorming session on past actions to introduce simple past and past continuous verbs | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Oral Language:
Conduct a listening activity where students listen to a short information text and share interesting facts they heard
Facilitate a group discussion where students visualize a scene described in a text and share their mental images
Reading:
Guide students through a visualization exercise where they read a passage and draw what they imagine
Conduct a reading session where students identify and share words or phrases that helped them visualize the text
Writing:
Lead a writing workshop where students draft a short story using simple past and past continuous verbs
Organize a peer review session where students read their writing aloud and receive feedback
Using Writing Conventions:
