Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about fundamental human rights. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about fundamental human rights? Introduction to today's objectives regarding fundamental human rights. Mental drill or quick quiz related to fundamental human rights.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
1. Define 'Human Rights' as basic freedoms belonging to everyone. 2. Identify specific rights of the child: Right to education, right to health care, right to protection from harm. 3. Discuss the difference between a 'Right' and a 'Want'. 4. Activity: Match specific rights to images representing them.
