Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Engage learners to sing songs and play games to get them ready for lesson. Learners identify the mosque as a place of congregational worship.
Groups examine printed photographs of worship in a local Ghanaian mosque and match Islamic worship-action cards showing ablution, standing, bowing, prostration, Qur’an recitation and supplication.
Learners arrange the action cards in a sensible sequence and use the photographs to describe the actions.
