Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Use questions and answers to review learners understanding in the previous lesson Engage learners to sing songs and play games to get them ready for lesson | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Display the Qur’an and guide learners to identify it as the Islamic sacred scripture. Discuss respectful ways Muslims handle and study it.
Groups read or listen to age-appropriate translations on printed Islamic scripture cards. They identify one moral lesson and practise a short respectful recitation where appropriate.
