Key Notes on Differentiation
Content	Use real objects, models, diagrams, demonstrations and simplified technical prompts for learners who need additional support. Extend highly proficient learners with troubleshooting, design, comparison, calculation, evaluation or improvement tasks based on the same indicator.
Process	Use mixed-ability and mixed-gender grouping, rotating technical roles so all learners participate meaningfully. Where specialised workshops, field trips, software or equipment are unavailable, use curriculum-aligned models, simulations, videos, diagrams or locally available alternatives.
Product	Allow evidence through practical demonstration, technical drawing, model, artefact, report, presentation, circuit, design solution or written response as appropriate. Assess safety, accuracy, procedure, technical reasoning, collaboration and quality of the finished evidence.
Success Criteria	Learners use correct subject vocabulary. Learners complete the main task with reasonable accuracy. Learners explain or demonstrate how the concept applies in a new situation.

Lesson Closure

Summarise tools and machines in woodwork industry and correct one common misconception using learner examples. State one thing learned and complete the exit response.
